Podcast #8- Unsentimental

February is the shortest month of the year but what we all seem to forget (especially us East coast peeps) is that the days are long and dreary with no shortage of precipitation. It's cold, slushy, and very indoor friendly. Fortunately, this year we have the Olympics and copious amounts of Stephen Colbert. As the Assistant Sports Psychologist of the U.S. speed skating team, he was quoted by saying, "The players relate to me because I provided them with cash. Okay? That's the kind of bond that you can't just get by being competent." Humor and sports. What else does one need on tv while in comatose state? Well, maybe this month's featured podcast. Presumptuous or not, it's ready for download.

The second month of the year features predominantly new artists such as Will Hoge, Neon Indian, Washed Out, Free Energy, The Features, Odessa, Chew Lips, and Lindstrom & Christabelle. There are some tracks that definitely lend itself more to the summer than the winter. But hey, it's brutal outside and I need to dream about warm weather to keep my sanity. Perhaps this isn't the best mix from the CYM collection, nevertheless it's relevant. Why? Because I fucking said so...
